Mr. Jessada Sirimongkolkasem, Chairman of the executive committee of GFPT Nichirei (Thailand) Company Limited and Dr. Boonkwan Wongyunoi, Academic Affairs Director of Krungthai Farm Co., Ltd., welcomed Dr. Balazs Toth, Dr.Vlad Anghel, Dr.Nicole Haskell from Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA). They were taken to inspect the food processing factory of GFPT Nichirei (Thailand), a manufacturer and distributor of fresh frozen chicken products, processed chicken meat, and chicken meat products as well as inspecting the process of raising broiler chickens at M.K.S. Farm Company Limited (Bo Thong), which is a closed, air-conditioned house with biosecurity management standards that focuses on raising chickens according to animal welfare principles of the GFPT Public Company Limited as a model for evaluating Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) Regionalization on November 22, 2023.
